Description

The ACR1252U USB NFC Reader III is an NFC Forum-certified PC-linked reader based on 13.56 MHz contactless technology. It features a Secure Access Module (SAM) slot, which can be used with a SAM card for key diversification and mutual authentication, ensuring a high level of protection in contactless transactions. Additionally, it supports post-deployment firmware upgrades, eliminating the need for additional hardware modifications.

The ACR1252U operates in three NFC modes: card reader/writer, card emulation, and peer-to-peer communication. It supports ISO 14443 Type A and B cards, MIFARE®, FeliCa, and ISO 18092 compliant NFC tags. Furthermore, it is compatible with other NFC devices, offering an operating speed of up to 424 Kbps and a working distance of up to 50 mm, depending on the type of tag used.
